Extreme HR Series

The Extreme HR Series has been designed and developed for those who are exhausted looking for that perfect rock sound. We concentrated on achieving the ultimate back beat with gunshot power yet still retaining great sensitivity that is lost with deeper snare drums.

The snare drum boasts an impressive 14” x 8” shell with 31 premium vertical grain birch plies. This gives the 16mm thick snare drum all the power you will ever need but graces the sound with extra warmth compared to deep metal shelled rock snare drums.

The clean high tones from the birch plies combined with the thick vertical grain shell and sharp 45 degree bearing edges embrace a nice metallic deep sound with a full thick backbeat. The ten, 6mm special air vents that run the circumference of the lower part of the shell, help drive more cutting power with unrivalled attack for a drum of this size.

The 2.5mm deep precision hand cut snare beds give great response and articulation through all dynamic levels making this a versatile snare drum.

The Extreme HR Series is completed with an outer ply of oak, finished in a beautiful hand applied soft ebony oil and complemented by its nickel plated hardware. The bearing edges and inside walls of the shell are coated with a satin oil to protect and seal the wood’s fibres while allowing the shell to breathe.
